Posted August 15th, 2008 by Karl Swedberg

Registration for jQuery Conference 2008 is officially open. Register now to ensure your spot!
As announced, this one-day conference will be held in Boston on Sunday, September 28, and will feature two tracks of presentations (beginner and advanced) from jQuery project members and a few special guest speakers. A registration fee of $50 will help cover the cost of the venue, as well as food, beverages, and T-shirts for all attendees.

We’re finalizing a convenient venue, especially for those who will be attending The Ajax Experience conference the following Monday through Wednesday. We’re still firming up the agenda as well, but you can expect this to be a blow-out event.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at events [at] learningjquery.com

    Jquery is Great!!

  4. Karl Says:

    Hi Jim,

We’re trying to get a feel for how much interest there is in having a jQuery conference on the west coast. The more people express an interest, the more likely we’ll schedule one.

  11. Joshua Gertzen Says:

Someone really needs to create a virtual conference platform so that location doesn’t matter.

  12. Dan Says:

Hello: Anyway you can stream over the net via Windows Live or some other streaming app? I’d really love to attend; however, finances just don’t allow. Simple economics. The $50 is nothing, but the travel expense would be an issue. I’d be willing to pay the $50 for streaming content. Anyway, just a thought. Thanks and good luck with the event. Peace… -Dan

  13. Kevin Quillen Says:

Doesn’t necessarily have to be a live stream, but perhaps a video of it posted a few hours after?

  14. Vasanth Govind Says:

Best wishes for the speakers, participants and organizers.

  15. Robert Says:

+1 for conference in Ca. I live in SD, would be willing to help setup, if you guys choose to throw one here.

  16. Alberto Vassena Says:

Great! But… what about an event in Europe? Is there any planned conference? As already asked, a streaming attachment or some recorded events would be greatly appreciated by those of us who will not be able to be present/participate…

Thanks again for being so active and -EFFICIENT- !!

  17. ferry Says:

    when it’ll be in Sydney?

Has a time been announced yet? I’m trying to figure out if I can arrive the morning of the event or if I will have to arrive the day before. Thanks.
